Biden's energy secretary has plans to meet with Israeli officials next week to discuss harvesting the oil and gas resources off the Gaza coast. I have a problem with us stealing from the Palestinians, I'm not okay with this
Henry Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Prize along with Leo Duc Tho (which refused it) when the Vietnam war ended for their efforts in stopping the war.
Kissinger, was instrumental for helping the US and China... moreFood for Thought. Henry Kissinger is dead.

Kissinger, was instrumental for helping the US and China to start getting along and cooperate diplomatically.
Kissinger, before dying, believed in an Ukraine-Russia cease fire.
Anyone seen the movie - A Few Good Men? In one seen, Jack Nicholson was playing a High ranking official been cross-examined by counsel during the court-martial of two soldiers. During the exchange and under oath he says, - "you can't handle the truth." I really like this line because it is true. US citizens can't handle the truth.
Listen, I know the atrocities (for a lack of a better word) this man committed. I know that the 1 to 4 million deaths accredited to this man is probably an under-count, but we need to understand that the USA needs people like this.
Why do some US citizens believe the USA is the hero and not the villain? Considering all the crazy and messed up things people do in the name of the USA, it should be obvious to them by now. We shouldn't judge, yet we are only human. Yes we despise the man for what he did, but in reality men like this are extremely important for United States. I'm not defending him nor I wish him well, but I'm not naive. This man didn't do everything by himself. He just didn't decide to attack and kill civilians because of an election in other countries. He had the backing of your government, which in turn, it had the backing of those elected officials voted by the people.
I have always believed that if USA really wanted peace, they would stop voting for warmongering officials that need people like Mr. Kissinger to do the dirty things your government needs to curtail any perceived disobedience from South American countries.
In conclusion, Mr. Kissinger will be remembered as a war criminal, which the USA needed and used accordingly. Whether you like it or not. less
Circumstances, life; it's all a process. Paths we all must tread. Desirable or not.
I learned at an all too young age the true meaning of "this too, shall pass." Doesn't matter what it is, nothing and no one can beat you forever.

Nothing in this world lasts forever, not even our troubles. When troubles arise, they can range from severe to unaffected. We all prefer the latter.
In reality, when "it's" happening. It won't happen forever. Knowledge of this does not make going through it any easier, but I think keeping in mind the impermanence helps.
Despite the fact that I know all of the above, the symptoms of post trauma reverberates. I'll be having a conversation about Korean French patisary, and my minds eye interrupts my physical vision, and I find myself uncertain if during the conversation, I have a look of blindness or going cross eyed due to the memory images of the most recent trauma I experienced. My body flinches in reaction to the minds eye image, heart beats under the breast plate; thump thump.
I experience it knowing this too shall pass, but what an interruption to a conversation about Korean Pastries.
I have found myself standing alone in many unjust situations. I have always stood up alone for myself. I have always fought alone and saved myself from certain dangers.
To a small degree I can comprehend why, out of the 15+ people in the lobby of that hotel; no one within ear shot of the beginning to end, said a fuck'n word in my defense. Like "hey, I don't think what's happening here is right."
I certainly would have. I would never stand by and watch what happened to me, happen to anyone.
So it makes me a little sad, again...in a room full of people, alone to defend myself.
For the record ya'll, since when does it require 2 men one bigger than the other and one average size female to handle one, 127 pound female?
While I definitely came out better than the managers face did, I'm going through this process, treading that trail in life. This too shall passđź’šđź’¨ less
