The UN voted for a Palestinian bid to become a member of the UN. 143 countries voted Yes. 9 countries voted Nay, USA included, 25 countries didn't vote. Now, this vote doesn't mean anything, knowing that the UN has voted time and time again for acceptance of the Palestine state since September 1974, and 50 years later nothing has changed. Some people say the pen is stronger than the sword. Maybe, but the pen is a lot slower and has more prejudices. less
